It’s all about the Relationship

At Circle, what we enjoy most is the relationship we have with our customers. We never want to focus on just a transaction, but rather on strengthening the bond which exists with our clients. “We are in the service business, Michael will often say, we also just happen to sell flooring.”

Bids and Budgets

When a client requests a quotation or budget pricing, a chain reaction of events take place. A highly skilled project manager will ask a series of questions during the bid scope to ensure that the pricing is as accurate as it can be. The bid documents are examined closely to find conflicts, errors, or missing information, so we can propose a solution before they create issues in the field. The estimating department performs a room by room quantity survey using a custom computer Job Estimating System, affectionately know as “JEZ”. Constant collaboration between sales, project management, operations and estimating ensures that the latest techniques, installation methods, and product knowledge are being applied to the process. “I am sure we have lost our share of jobs because we have been too thorough in working up the estimate”. It is only when a less comprehensive estimate is compared to what Circle Floors has to offer, that the added value can be recognized.

When a project is awarded to Circle Floors, we view this as another opportunity to make or break a relationship. By understanding the needs of the customer, we can make better decisions on how to manage that particular project to a successful conclusion. After years of defining and refining the project management process, we feel that we have eliminated 95 % of what can go wrong on our end. But, it does happen, that on occasion we do make a mistake. We take on that challenge to renew the trust bestowed on us and further strengthen the relationship, by going the extra mile to make it right. We take enormous pride in the work that we do. We work hard every day to maintain our position as the most respected commercial flooring contractor in New England.
